This afternoon, about 3:45, at the far end of the wildlife loop I photographed a rather lanky looking hawk that was surveying the 4-5 juvenile Bald Eagles tussling over the remains of an Canada Goose. The bird had a whitish belly, speckled with black, with a dark upper breast. There appeared to be a whitish moustachial stripe, and it was lighter above and below a dark eye line. Base of bill was pale, and tip strongly hooked. As near as I can figure, the dark morph juvenile Swainson's head and upper breast in Sibley has been pasted to the belly and lower parts of the intermediate morph.

I've got backlit pics, and welcome opinions.

The bird disappeared, and could not be relocated.
