An American Pipit was feeding on the south side of the fort at Fort McHenry NHM this afternoon. It allowed me to approach within 30 feet and did not so much as shake a tail feather.

A nice collection of ducks were rafting close to the rip rap along the wetland area. Jim had a Northern Pintail earlier this week; but I did not see it today. In addition, 150+ ducks gathered at the far end of the wetland - I did not count them.
