Hi yesterday Monday afternoon 1 , 19 with most parts of many waterways frozen over I decided to try my luck at Kent Narrows In Queen Annes County The moving currents here keep water from freezing longer . Around the two bridges water mostly open . No rarities however

Canada Geese 100 way out
American Goldeneyes 12
Lesser Scaup 20
Bufflehead 12
Ruddy Ducks 30
Long Tailed Ducks 5
Mallards 6
Coots 10
Ring Billed Gulls 12
Herring Gulls 2
Great Black Backed Gulls 3

Chester on Kent Island road behind Safeway

Wilson's Snipe 1 flushed from roadside ditch as I drove past

Boat Landing Near Dominon Kent Island overlooking Eastern Bay frozen in close to shore but at the ice line birds seen with a scope . Very sceneic but cold as the sun sank lower in the sky .

Canvasbacks 300
Scaup species 100
Bufflehead 6

Happy Birding
