Les Roslund, thanks for brokering the deal with the marina. Here are some
places we recommend for eating in Cambridge:

Snapper's Restaurant - good views of Cambridge Creek, not bad seafood with a
Mexican touch. Commerce Street, just off of High Street a block or so south
of the city marina.

Portside - at the intersection of Maryland Ave & Trenton street by the east
end of the Cambridge Creek drawbridge. Good seafood, pricey, but much
improved since MD stopped smoking in restaurants and bars.

Canvasback Pub & Restaurant - Race Street, downtown. Good pub fare and a
more extensive dinner menu. Great sandwiches (ask about the fried oyster
sandwich.in season now but not always showing on the menu), soups, etc. One
of our favorite casual spots in Cambridge.

For good Mexican, the best choice is La Tapatia (Matt and Jim's favorite)
back on Rt. 50, just north of the McDonalds. This excellent chain is in
Ocean City, Salisbury, Cambridge, Easton, and one place in Delaware
somewhere. Very good Mexican (we see many of the local Hispanic population
eating there).

Cambridge Diner, a great casual place for breakfast or family style dinners.
On Rt. 50, just east of Bucktown Road.

For a very nice dinner spot, consider Bobby's at the old country club.
Drive west on Washington St., MD 343, toward Horn Point. Bear right onto
Horns Point Road, turn right into Country Club Road and drive to the end.
Lovely views of the Choptank.

There are other places but these are the restaurants we visit most often
Cambridge.
