This afternoon at Piney Run I wanted to check the numerous spruces which are loaded with cones. Still no crossbills seen here. The lake is 99% frozen with the crowd of geese around the open areas making it difficult to see the ducks.

   At home, 3 Goldfinches made for a big day at the feeders.
