Hi All,
I went looking for the White-winged Crossbills reported at Druid Ridge
Cemetary in NW Baltimore and located a small flock of four birds (1 Ad. M
+ 3 F-colored) in a cluster of tall Hemlock/Pines on a hilltop halfway
between the Park Heights Ave. entrance and the extensive row of Hemlock
along the NW edge of the cemetary. After a few minutes they took off in a
western direction. No crossbills were seen or heard along the edge row
where previously reported during my two hour stay (10:00AM-12:00noon).
Four ( 2+1+1) Pine Siskins were the only other noteworthy birds seen.

Have a great weekend of birding!
