Jay Sheppard called to report the following at the Little Patuxent Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve

Mallard (50)
American Black Duck (5)
Northern Pintail (8)
Red-tailed Hawk (1)
Rusty Blackbird (1)

Trumpeter Swan #960 has not been seen since the cold snap set in and most of the water froze on Oxbow lake. He also has lost his yellow patagial tags so id'ing him as #960 will be harder in the future (as he spends most of his time  with his feet under water). Don't know if he has headed over to the Patuxent Research Refuge Central Tract. Should anyone see an errant Trumpeter Swan, please let Jay or me know. Thanks!
