Hello all.

Took a long walk this morning at Compass Pointe.  Brush and thicket areas are left to grow in many areas of this facility and in turn, it usually turns out good sparrow numbers and diversity.

Highlights:

Turkey Vulture: 1
Red-shouldered Hawk: 1 adult, very active
Cooper's Hawk: 1 adult
Eastern Bluebird: 12
Carolina Chickadee: 11
Tufted Titmouse: 4


Eastern Towhee: 12  Seen in 4 different locations
Song Sparrow: 14
Savannah Sparrow: 1 
Field Sparrow: 12  In a single shrub off of north course
Fox Sparrow: 2  Thickets by large water trap
American Tree Sparrow: 1  Near the Fox Sparrows
White-throated Sparrow: c. 40
Dark-eyed Junco: c. 75  Two good-sized flocks


House Finch: 5
Pine Siskin: 3
American Goldfinch: 6
