Three members of the Talbot Bird Club found a Ross's Goose within a flock of
Canada Geese near Easton, MD today. The arrangement seems to match that
which was present near the Easton By-pass Road a few weeks ago. Perhaps it
is the same group.

Subject: Ross's Goose
This morning (Saturday, January 24th) at 10:30 am the Ross's goose was
feeding in a flock of Canada geese on Dover Neck Road. (Many folks know it
as the road to the dump.) As I was viewing it from my car, Priscilla and
Paul Thut arrived. We set up the scope and all got to share the experience
of seeing a "lifer". (and managed not to get run over by all the speed
demons who can't wait to get rid of their trash!)
The flock was in a field on the west side of Dover Neck Road right before
the turn-off to the dump on Barker's Landing Rd.
As Danny would say, "Happy Birding"!
