Ron Gutberlet and myself birded Somerset and Worcester Counties on Sunday.
Highlights include,

Fairmont WMA (dawn)
Black-crowned Night-Herons -- 5
American Bittern -- 1
Belted Kingfisher -- 1

Frenchtown
Greater Yellowlegs -- 1

Rumbley
Greater Yellowlegs -- 4
Long-billed Dowitcher -- 8

Rumbley Point Rd
Boat-tailed Grackles -- 8

With Mark Hoffman's help we located the Red-headed Woodpecker that he had
found on the Crisfield CBC in southeast Worcester County.

The Peregrine Falcon was not sitting on the Hack Tower in the marshes at
Deal Island WMA. No herons were observed other than Great Blues.

EA Vaughn WMA
BLUE-WINGED TEAL -- 2 (in a flock of 75 Green-winged Teal)
This is a good spot for Salt Marsh Sparrow and Nelson's Sparrow and
Bobwhite. We dipped on all three.

Berlin
Wild Turkey -- 20 (feeding in a field along Rt 113)

OC Inlet
HARLEQUIN DUCK -- 1
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER -- 2
Unfortunately, I have yet to observe the Peregrine Falcon this year that
frequents the water tower and roller coaster at the inlet. Ron did spot a
cat that had climbed almost to the top of the roller coaster.
