spending much of the time with Mikey Lutmerding and his girlfriend Joanna.

SNOW BUNTING --72
The Snow Bunting flock was feeding on the road and viewed well for a few
minutes.  A car came and spooked the flock and it flew south.  Snow Bunting
was a county bird for everyone present and was bird species 250 for Mikey's
Garrett County list.  Matt Hafner said that 72 Snow Buntings may be the
largest flock of Snow Buntings observed in Maryland in the past 10 years.

empty.

As usual it was a great day birding in the mountains with good friends.
When the sun went down Ron and I drove back home to the relative flatness of
the Eastern Shore.
