This morning I was leaving to do stream monitoring followed by a doctor's appointment in Annapolis, hence the late post. Anyway, as I was leaving my office, a White-winged Crossbill flew overhead giving its distinctive flight call. I was hoping that it would come in to my feeders and perhaps that's where it had been. Since I was out pretty much the rest of the day I haven't had a chance to stake out the feeders but I'll be in the lab all day tomorrow. Of course, it won't be there when I'm watching!
