Snow Buntings - Garrett Co.

This morning J.B. Churchill and I went out to look for various winter
specialties in Garrett Co. We were specifically looking for Snow Buntings
which had been reported along Pleasant Valley Rd and Paul Friend Rd near
Oakland. We were not disappointed. We found 50 SNOW BUNTINGS in two separate
flocks one of 10 and one of 40 which was mixed with about 70 HORNED LARKS. I
was able to snap a couple photos of this hardy little sparrows out on the
"tundra" of Garrett Co. Follow this link to the photos:
