While watching Jug Bay from my bucket this morning (Feb 11, 2009), I saw a couple of birds soaring around near Selby Landing on the PG side.  At first I thought they were Starlings, but they seemed more graceful, so I cranked the scope up to 60 X and watched two TREE SWALLOWS happily soaring around for several minutes.  This is my earliest record by 17 days.  For the sake of county records, they were most certainly over both AA and PG counties.  Also, while dog-walking with Mikey & Jo Anna this evening, we heard one, probably two Woodcocks peenting and displaying at the end of Mallard Lane.
