Hi all,
I spent about an hour watching gulls at the Jug Bay Natural Area this
afternoon. Among the many hundreds of HERRING GULLS and RING-BILLED
GULLS, were 5 GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULLS, 3 LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS (2
first cycle, 1 second cycle), and one first cycle THAYER'S GULL. Also
along the trail there were 12 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS. NORTHERN PINTAILS and
GREEN-WINGED TEAL were also present in good numbers.
Good Birding!
