My daughter and I spent the three day Presidents Day 
week-end "birding" the eastern shore. We had three three 
rare visitors we were after: Snowey Owl, Barrow's 
Goldeneye and a Tufted Duck. We struck out on all three! 
However I did pick up eight new ones for my list and saw 
some intresting and beautiful country. Here is the link to
