I took a quick swing through Hains Pt this afternoon to see if
anything interesting was kicking around. No sign of the White-winged
Scoter, but the winds may have pushed him up the Anacostia.
Not much around, but an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull out on near tip
was nice. This individual had an injured left leg, looks like the
tarsus may have been broken. The bird was roosting with a flock of
Ring-billed Gulls on the grass when I left.
