Frances & I combined the GBBC and the Rusty Blackbird Blitz
with a 2-mile trek along the Paint Branch Stream Valley Park
trail from Cherry Hill Rd to the University of Maryland in
College Park, PG County.
Highlights included a single dark-morph SNOW GOOSE in the
big pond by the MD-198 entrance to the golf course, a pair
of BALD EAGLEs (1 juvenile) harrassed by crows in the ag
fields, and a FOX SPARROW near the swamp. The raptor haul
was very good. Unfortunately, no Rusty Blackbirds (not many
blackbirds in general). Here's the report I submitted to

Notes: Combining the GBBC and the Rusty Blackbird Blitz
in one go. Sadly, no Rustys (not many blackbirds in
general). Highlights included Field & Fox Sparrows,
bluebirds, lots of raptors, and a Snow Goose. Sunny, cool,
breezy. May have heard Winter Wren (could not locate).
