I took a short, cold walk in the stiff wind along the river trail at Great
Falls this afternoon.
  There was definitely an eagle, hunkered down , sitting on the new nest on
Conn island.
I  saw the other eagle fly in and land on a nearby snag.
Ten minutes later, in the parking lot, one of the eagles flew across the
river, and soared in big circles in the sun, gaining altitude until it
finally soared off upriver.
Maybe they had a nest sitting change.
