After fruitless search for the Oxford Snowy Owl, I got to the inlet 9-ish, to find only usual suspects. But after checking other spots, and general fooling around, returned to the inlet when at 12:45 I spotted a distant Razorbill beyond the south jetty. I was distracted and lost it. But then another appeared much closer. Alerting another birder, who'd already found it any way, we watched it, only to have a Dovekie materialize behind it! It flew off north in short order. She moved on, and I went to alert others. As we watched, TWO more Razorbills appeared, for a total of three. All off the south jetty. I also sighted a fairly close Northern Gannet at about 1:00. No sign of Greater Cormorants, though four were present further north at Indian River Inlet this afternoon.
