I also went to Centennial Park today in search of the White-Winged XBills and was rewarded with excellent views of a flock of about 20 feeding vigorously in the Firs (I think) where they have been described in the South area. The lighting was great and I watched them for about 20 minutes until they took off. A life bird for me!

I also checked out Brighton Dam. Saw about 75 Common Mergansers but no Red-Breasteds or other ducks.
