This is feeding-station weather for sure. When I went out to fill the thistle feeder, the siskins were flying around me, waiting. And for the first time this winter, I had a couple of FOX sparrows poking around the ground. Given this snow, there could be large numbers of them in our back yards. And who knows what else.
