Wandered over to Lilyponds today hoping to maybe go on a snipe hunt. No
snipe to be had.
So what do I find in the air flying over?- Swans. Probably Tundra but I'm
willing to call them Trumpeters just because everybody else is seeing them
these days.
OK, ok. So they were Tundra.
Also had a pair of Blue-winged Teal and some Wood Ducks. Nothing else real
exciting ...
Except frogs. Spring Peepers and something else- maybe Wood Frogs. Frogs
don't have feathers (yet) so I have trouble retaining their songs. Somebody
sent me a web site for Frogs songs last year but I lost it. If anybody's got
one, send it to me off line and I'll solve the frog ID mystery.

And for those keeping score, we ordered the Adirondack book today. Now we
have to pick a week where we can get some birds and not be eaten completely
by black flies. Wish us luck.

And in the event we do get completely eaten, it was nice knowing y'all.
