Tom Field and I birded Worcester and Wicomico Counties today. Highlights
include,

Truitt's Landing (dawn)
Sedge Wren -- 1
Brewer's Blackbird -- 5 (probably the same flock that Stasz, Boyd, &
Burchett had a few weeks ago)

Steel Pond Rd
Pine Warbler -- 1 (singing)

Deal Island WMA
Long-billed Dowitcher -- 1
There are large mud flats in the impoundments off Riley Roberts Rd. If the
waters level stay low there is going to be amazing shorebird habitat.

Salisbury Dump
Iceland Gull -- 1
Thayers Gull -- 2
Lesser Black-backed Gull -- 6
Laughing Gull -- 3
(photos of all the above birds)

Wet fields south of Rt 50 before West Ocean City
In a flock of mainly Ring-billed Gulls Tom and I observed a gull that turned
out to be an albino/leucistic Ring-billed Gull. It was pure white but had
yellow legs and a yellow bill with a black ring. Very cool lucking bird!

OC Inlet
Red-necked Grebe -- 1
All three scoter species were seen but no eiders were observed

33rd St. bayside
Eared Grebe -- 1

South Point
Collared Dove -- 1
We tried for the Dickcissel that was hanging with the House Sparrow flock
last week at the boat ramp, but had no luck.

Nanticoke River at Vienna
Osprey -- 1

End of Henry's Crossing Rd (Dorchester County) viewing the marshes in
Wicomico County across the Nanticoke at dusk.
Short-eared Owl -- 1
Virginia Rail -- many calling
King Rail -- many calling
