As a follow-up to our Tuesday program from Mark Scallion, the Kent 
County Bird Club will be traveling to Pickering Creek Audubon Center 
near Easton on Saturday, 14 March. We will meet local participants in 
front of the Dollar General Store, off Philosopher's Terrace in downtown 
Chestertown at 8:00 AM for car-pooling. Anyone who would like to meet us 
there should contact us to coordinate timing. Early spring migration is 
picking up its pace and the varied habitats at Pickering Creek should 
offer a good diversity of migrants and lingering winterers including 
waterfowl, raptors, and sparrows.
