Hi all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the monthly program of the Prince George's Audubon Society and the Patuxent Bird Club (MOS) will take place tomorrow night at 7:30 at the College Park Airport Annex. Please see our web page for directions, as well as information about upcoming field trips. There will be light refreshments served. The program is free and open to the public. Hope to see many of you there!

(from the website) Don Messersmith, a retired University of Maryland Professor and world traveler, will present this slide program on his birding trip to these two exotic countries. Traveling there in the winter meant that not only were many native species seen, but also winter visitors from Siberia, especially waterfowl. From the snowy mountains of Kashmir to desert conditions in Rajistan, forests in Northeast India and the foothills of the Himalayas gave his group a wide perspective of northern India and parts of Nepal. In addition to showing some of the birds, he will take us to the Taj Mahal, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Darjeeling tea country, Khatmandu, and Pokhara in Nepal.
