Hi,  
I just stepped out of my shop to walk in for lunch and noticed a small  flock 
of (small) birds feeding in the lawn in back by the fence, near the farm  
field where I saw Meadowlarks this morning. I was hoping for pipits, but it  
turned out to be a mixed flock of Field Sparrows, a couple of Savannah Sparrows  
and about the same number of Song Sparrows. The yard list seems to change daily 
 now...
