Home: Great Horned Owl - 1 heard only; occasionally hear one here in suburbia 



Liberty Watershed at Bollinger Mill Road:

Sunday, 3/15 



Home:  White-winged Crossbill  2 were perched in the top of our oak tree but flew off calling before I could get a close look. An unexpected yard bird while the dog in the evening. 



Monday, 3/16 



Home: 



White-crowned Sparrow  1 immature continues in the neighborhood. 

White-winged Crossbill  15 dropped into a neighbor's spruce tree while I was walking the dog this morning. 



Westminster Community Pond: 



Canada Goose  18 

Graylag Goose  6 of various colors 

Mallard  34, including two or three breeds 

Ring-billed Gull  4 



Study Road Farm Pond:

Cranberry Reservoir: 



Canada Goose  400 

Hybrid goose  1, probably Graylag Goose X Canada Goose was dark-bodied with a white head and neck. At first glance it looked like an adult Blue Goose but a closer exam revealed the slightly larger size, heavy head, and thick neck.
