Hi Everyone,

This afternoon, single first-cycle ICELAND GULLS (Kumlien's presumably) were at Skimmer Island and Eagles Nest Campground.  Adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls were also at both locations.

Today was the first day this year that I have seen Boat-tailed Grackles in the the Ocean City area.  And hundreds of Northern Gannets were flying steadily north past the Ocean City Inlet; a gathering of over 600 were feeding just offshore--quite a sight!  Some of the more compulsive counters among us could have made a day of it and probably would have counted over 10,000 gannets.  Tempting... but I had a few other stops on my agenda.
