Dear All



Yesterday I went down to Hains Point to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine with the family.  The only bird to report was a first winter Tundra Swan that was on the water near to the tip of the point (the first Tundra Swan I have seen in DC that was not overflying) which subsequnetly got flushed by a speedboat and flew off up the Washington Channel towards the Tidal Basin at about 5.30pm.
