Hi Everyone,

At 11:00 today I arrived at Lapidum where Ispent two hours searching for the Little Gull. When I first arrivedit was quite foggy and there was not a lot of bird activity.Things picked up as time passed and after an hour ofsorting through the Bonaparte's,the Little Gull passed by (mid river or so) with a group of 4 Bonnies! The dark underwings, wing shape, size and flight gave it away and I had good views for about 15 seconds before they cruised up river towards the opposite side.

I tried for another hour to relocate the bird to no avail. As time passed, it seemedmany ofthe Bonaparte's Gulls were headed up river mostly staying closer to the opposite side. I had a great time studying all the Bonaparte's todaybut left feeling cross eyed after trying to turn each distant Bonny into the Little. It was well worth the effort!Happy birding......
