Hi Everyone,

Proper use of a late lunch today allowed me to check Twilley's Bridge Rd, which is east of Salisbury in Wicomico County. In the half hour I was there (2:30-3:00 pm), I had the following highlights, which include several new arrivals:

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker--1 by Twilley's Bridge itself
Eastern Phoebe--1 giving its callnote from the railing of Twilley's Bridge
BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER--2 (my first for the year)
BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER--1 male (my first of the year), not singing, but with a large group of Myrtle Warblers and a couple Pine Warblers
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER--1 singing near Twilley's Bridge (my first for the year in Wicomico; second for the year in MD thanks to Carol Ghebelian)
Pine Warbler--2 singing
Myrtle Warbler--30 (a conservative estimate--I kept pishing, and they kept coming)
Eastern Meadowlark--at least 3 singing by the paved part of Twilley's Bridge Rd near the airport (a small, but nice grassland area)

Fast food and spring migrants--excellent combo! Have fun,
