Blue-winged Teal & Long-tailed Duck - Ho Co

After dipping on the Blue-winged Teal being seen at Centennial Lake at the Wildlife end, I went to Forebay Pond and immediately saw three Blue-winged Teal.  One male and two females.  Two Hooded Mergansers and several Canada Geese were also present.

On the way home I received a call that Bill and Karan Blum had found a Long-tailed Duck and two Blue-winged Teal at Warfield's Pond Park.  The Long-tailed Duck was still there when I arrived but the teal had departed.  I could have saved myself a lot of driving by just checking the pond a mile away :<)   Directions to Warfield's Pond Park can be found at:
