i went to Little Bennett today and saw at least 2 Louisiana water-thrushes and they were not singing but were making their call by chirping. they were very active by the area before you get to the school where the stream comes to near the road. lots of good looks. also among about 30 different species, most at Little Bennett included fox sparrow, blue-gray gnat-catcher, ruby-crowned Kinglet, yellowed- bellied sapsucker, towhee, and both vultures, and flicker.
