On an otherwise slow morning at Schoolhouse Pond, I had a flock of 25 Bonaparte's Gulls fly low overhead around 7:30 this morning. The gulls were in a tight group heading north. Other gulls passing over singly or in small groups included 6 Herring Gulls, 9 Ring-billed Gulls, and 12 Laughing Gulls. There were also 2 Great Egrets, 4 Double-crested Cormorants, and 2 Great Blue Herons on the pond. A Swamp Sparrow was singing.
