Seen walking from Metro on the Bethesda campus along the stream adjacent to bldg 21's parking lot were 4 very active Chipping Sparrows - first i've seen (FOY) either here or at home.

At home, siskins haven't been in evidence the last week or so.  Last night a lone Goldfinch was sampling from the thistle upside down tube feeder.
