From the "beach" area on Loch Raven Drive, the dominant birds were C Loon (10+), dc Cormorants (lots), Pied-Billed Grebes, and my favorite of the day: a raft (nearby) of about 30 Red-Breasted Mergansers. Far away near the opposite shore were 4 birds I couldn't quite identify--interesting looking.
