I stopped by TPSP on the Bay Ridge peninsula this afternoon.  Scoping
the Bay, I counted 49 floating/resting/relaxing NORTHERN GANNETS at
the mouth of the South River.  Another 3 more flying around the Bay.

Later, I saw one Northern Gannett flying right up to the 450 Naval
Academy Bridge near the Severn Inn.  If it would have gotten enough
loft, I (with a little imagination) could've counted this as a yard
bird.
