Several Talbot County bird Club members and a guest led by Jan Reese enjoyed a lovely but chilly Easter Morning birding the stream bottom forest areas below Easton to Trappe on either side of route 50 . highlights were FOY [ first of the year ] for most of us and a bit early to arrive an Eastern Kingbird 1 , Common yellow Throat FOY for some of the group . Chickadees , Tufted Titmouse were abuntant , Pileated woodpecker , Brown Thrasher singing and seen , Mockingbirds, Tree Swallows, Purple Martians , Blue Gray Gnatcatchers in several Places some at eye level , flyover of a small group of Common Loons 4 was a treat , Wilson Snipe 1 in ditch and the Acme markert parking area, several woodducks and one heard but never seen L. Waterthrush .
Happy Birding
