Greetings,

  A Yellow-Crowned Night Heron was spotted in the marsh to the left of  
the boardwalk after you pass the tower. At first he was in an area  
best viewed from the boardwalk just before it ends but he moved around  
a good bit hunting as it got later in the evening. Two palm warblers  
fed together along the informal trail and the Virginia Rail called  
frequently from his usual spot within the boardwalk loop.
