I heard a singing Yellow-throated Warbler near 'Boulder Bridge' along Rock
Creek and then sighted a singing and foraging male near Peirce Mill.

Also sighted in Rock Creek NP were the following migrants:
- Chimney Swift
- E. Phoebe
- Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Additional notable sightings:
- Blue Jay carrying nesting material to a crotch in a tree (approx. 30m in
height) along the Piney Branch Parkway
- Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (Dumbarton Oaks Park)
- Red-shouldered Hawk (Dumbarton Oaks Park & C&O Canal)
- Hairy Woodpecker (C&O Canal)
