A pretty good morning around Lake Artemisia (PG County) today. Highlights
included two Caspian Terns flying around when I arrived and a Tundra Swan
that flew in as I was watching the terns. I also had a nice male Palm
Warbler and what I'm fairly certain was a Hermit Thrush hopping around in
the wood along the trail to the east of the lake that runs along Indian
Creek and goes by the baseball field. Lots of gnatcatchers and Yellow
Rumped Warblers around, though no Parulas, which would have been nice. The
full report is below.
