Soldier's Delight + PVSP McKeldin 4/18

I spent the morning at Soldier's Delight, Baltimore Co. walking around the
Serpentine trail. Lots of migrating hawks and four warbler species.
Perhaps best birds were the 75+ Bonaparte's Gulls flying past me in the
midst of suburbia in Owings Mills. Unexpected to say the least!

Great Blue Heron -- 1
Common Loon -- 9 in tight flock
Double-crested Cormorant -- 8
Osprey -- 1
Turkey Vulture -- 40+
Black Vulture -- 20+
Northern Harrier -- 1 F
Cooper's Hawk -- 4
Sharp-shinned Hawk -- 7
Red-shouldered Hawk -- 8
Red-tailed Hawk -- 6
Broad-winged Hawk -- 100+ several kettles throughout the morning
American Kestrel -- 6
Killdeer -- 1 pair
BLUE-HEADED VIREO -- 1 singing
Barn Swallow -- 3
Tree Swallow -- 3
Hermit Thrush -- 4
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher -- 10
Ruby-crowned Kinglet -- 20
Golden-crowned kinglet -- 6
Brown Creeper -- 1
Pine Warbler -- 3
Yellow Palm Warbler -- 15
Yellow-rumped Warbler -- 2
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER - 1 migrant
Brown Thrasher -- 1
Eastern Towhee -- 6 M
Field Sparrow -- 10 singing M
Chipping Sparrow -- 8 singing M

Deer Tick -- 4 (three of which hitch-hiked home with me....)

Eastern Phoebe -- 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher -- 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet -- 10+
Yellow-throated Warbler -- 3
Black-and-White Warbler -- 1 M
Louisiana Waterthrush -- 1 pair

American toads -- 15+ (Crows were having a field day)
