Subject: Posting 4 MD Osprey
Norm--
Since I am not a MD Osprey member...I get enough emails each day, thank
you....would you mind posting this later today?
Oxbow Lake, AA Co., east of Laurel: April 16 and April 18, COMMON RAVEN.
On Thursday (4/16) I had one adult flying over the lake at about 10:30 AM.
Today (4/18) we* had a PAIR also flying over the lake a little past 10:00
AM. In all three cases the birds were flying from west to east and being
mobbed by American Crows. The Laurel race track lies to the immediate west
of the lake about 1.5 miles and NSA and Ft. Meade are to the east several
miles. On March 14, I had a single raven feeding on the ground about midway
between the Oxbow lake and the race track.
I think these may be the only records for AA Co....but I am not sure??
THANX
Jay
