Sorry everyone, I accidently sent the last post before I was done.

At Eagles Nest we also viewed 3 WHIMBREL flying north.

At the inlet Mikey spotted a PIPING PLOVER sitting on the south jetty!

Skimmer Island had 4 BROWN PELICANS

West OC Ponds had 1 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, 7 CATTLE EGRETS, 2 COOT, and
a single PIED-BILLED GREBE.

Bayside Development had 3 LESSER SCAUP in the main pond and the marshes
around the development had 1 CATTLE EGRET, 1 LITTLE BLUE HERON, 25 WILLETS,
and 7 WHIMBREL.

It was a fabulous day with many new year birds.  I can't wait for Spring in
full force.
