Hi all,
   I went birding in Montgomery County today with my brother Robert. Highlight was the American Bittern at Hughes Hollow which another birder was kind enough to point out to us. This was after the MC field trip had ended so the Bittern hung around quite awhile and was very cooperative. Some other highlights follow.

Riley's Lock (and west along the towpath):
