MD Osprey:
Cattle Egret is one of those species for which the MD/DC Records
Committee has never located a published photo that was taken in DC
nor does it have such a photo in its files. If anyone is able to take
a photo of this species in DC, we would appreciate a copy.
Several species in this category were photographed over the past
year. Here is the remaining list of the (relatively) more common,
non-reviewable DC species for which we would still like to capture photographs:
Snow Goose
Gadwall
Redhead
Snowy Egret
Cattle Egret
American Coot
American Golden-Plover
Ruddy Turnstone
White-rumped Sandpiper
Long-billed Dowitcher
Iceland Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
Glaucous Gull
Great Black-backed Gull
Least Tern
Caspian Tern
Chuck-will's-widow
Olive-sided Flycatcher
Common Raven
Common Redpoll
Thanks!
Phil
