Hi all,
Just sitting on the deck this morning I saw a few new arrivals and one
new yard bird. The new arrivals include Great Crested Flycatcher, and Eastern
Kingbird, and the new yard bird, #113, was a flyby Solitary Sandpiper,
heading NE, perhaps coming from the small farm pond adjacent to our yard. Also
saw a Northern Harrier as well as the local pair of Cooper's Hawks (flying
slowly along together). So far, 34 yard species but will be out most of the
PM, so that may be it. Haven't seen any sign of hummingbirds since my
initial sighting a few days ago, but hung out fresh food anyway.
