This morning we had four waders in our cove, our resident Great blue, two Snowy egrets & a Tricolored heron. I think it may have been the first tricolor I've ever seen here on this side of the Bay.

A Yellow warbler has been in the yard for about a week, he's hard to see because he blends right in with the emerging leaves. Both our Ruby-throats have returned & I've seen the male doing his figure 8 courting flight a couple of times. Interesting, that the female was probably here a week before the male. The Cattle egrets have also returned, just in time to follow the mowers around.
