Hello all.

I had a great morning at Swan Creek. 83 total species between 7:30-10: 30am. When/if you go, please remember to sign in at the office.

Highlights included 2 SEASIDE SPARROWS at the edge of the mitigated wetland and 2 MARSH WRENS in the same area. I had 2 Seasides ad 1 Marsh Wren in the glass at the same time for a brief moment. Swamp and Savannah Sparrows were found in the same area, which is about halfway up the roadway that splits the two wetland areas. The wrens breed there and the Seasides have been visiting for at least a week. Also had 11 warbler species (including Kentucky and Chat) and a few other good neotrops. Add the usual waders and it made for a great trip.

Also had the chance to observe dozens of large carp sliding up the spillway between the wetlands. The last week's rain made it tough for them, but they made it anyway.
